Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bookkeeping activities up to the trial balance, including:
    • Supplier invoice processing
    • Supplier invoice processing
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Credit card statement handling
    • Payment processing
  • Assist with monthly and annual financial closings, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll for all company employees
  • Maintain accurate employee attendance data and generate payroll-related reports
  • Submit and track statutory payments to Israeli authorities, including VAT, Bituach Leumi (National Insurance), and Income Tax
  • Conduct internal controls and reconciliations on payroll and accounting data
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and provide ongoing support
  • Ensure timely updates to the financial system and maintain up-to-date records

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience – mandatory
  • Payroll Certification – mandatory
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High proficiency in English.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with “Michpal” software –an advantage
  • Solid understanding of Israeli labor laws and payroll regulations – an advantage.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics – an advantage.
